“Land of the Free, Home of the Brave”…

Those terms mean a lot to a lot of people as they represent the beacon of hope that is America. Today many, many years ago, the Declaration of Independence was signed to affirm our sovereignty and it cannot be over emphasized that everyone was part of that change because they recognized the importance of being “ONE”. Β The colors ofΒ the United States of America are symbolic to the birth of a nation through its growth ; White signifies purity and innocence, Red, hardiness & valor, and Blue, theΒ color of the Chief signifies vigilance, perseverance & justice.”

To celebrate this patriotic day, I went ahead with the infamous blue, white and red combination although it may be cliche, we all have different styles tailored to our individuality so don’t be afraid to wear set colors just do it your own way.

In addition, for plus size Queens out there, don’t be afraid to wear A line dresses, they can be very flattering with the right accessories. I cinched my waist with a bow belt to accentuate my waist. Furthermore, do not be afraid of length, length can be good too. I usually experiment with all lengths and work with the best for my height. So ladies, let me know what you think about the dress and sneakers combination..
