Neutrals for the Winter…

Winter might still be in full throttle physically but mentally and “fashionally”(Mimipedia), we are in Spring. Tell me I am not the only one that feels that way. Neutrals have been making a come back or should I say stay back throughout Winter almost like it’s Spring. Neutrals have retained its place amongst the greater color palettes.

Neutrals are a category of their own with colors such as white, brown , beige, not only are they eye catchy, they elevate any look and bonus, they compliment fit every skin tone.

Furthermore, neutrals are what I call “ashewo colors” meaning “easy fit colors” which means they compliment any look and can be played with. To avoid your neutral combo being boring, you can play with textures and various shades such as tonal blocking.

So, whilst we are still in the throes of winter, lets enjoy neutrals and what it has to offer hence this collaboration of masculinity and femininity. My fashion friend Ruthy and I collaborated to show the masculine and feminine sides of wearing neutrals. It was so much fun showcasing the different perspective of how to wear browns.
