Soooooooo…….. where to start!!! I haven’t been much of a traveler in fact, come to think about it, never even been a birthday person as well. Traveling was never my go to source of entertainment and relaxation besides, I have been all over the world through my books. lol You won’t find any cheaper flights than the ones you take through your imagination.lol. Taste of NOLA, the Creole City…
I have fallen in love three times: Once with a boy, the other time with myself and the last time with a city. NOLA is such a beautiful place, its full of creative surprises and opportunities. It smells and feels like one is in the renaissance era. New Orleans birthed by Mother Africa is adequately mixed with the French and Spanish culture. (whats not to love!) I am very passionate about this subject because I have been told countless times that swimwear isn’t for curvy/curvier/voluptuous women. They say it doesn’t look right and it’s not tailored to our shape. I stand to disagree. Whether bikinis, tankinis or one piece, every shape is beautiful and should be reverenced. Growing up in a predominantly Ankara infused society, Ankara becomes dormant after a while (don’t shoot me) thus, the need to amp it up without losing fashion and style is eminent. I am very into mixing Ankara prints to create a style that’s uniquely mine. This NY&CO wide leg pants is right up my alley because not only is it high-waisted with a rich mustard color , it is stretchy which makes for a great fit and also stylish. This pants was styled with an Asos bandeau. Although it was such a great combination, I decided to pair the outfit with an Ankara Kimono inspired jacket tailored to fit my frame.…
