    I have fallen in love three times: Once with a boy, the other time with myself and the last time with a city. NOLA is such a beautiful place, its full of creative surprises and opportunities.     Coming in hot this Summer are co-ords.  Co-ords, also known as “twin sets”, are matching tops and bottoms. I have always been a fan of twin sets because they are so easy to put on as oppose to rompers. With matching sets you don’t have to worry about combining other articles of clothing.     Ever been to a city and you feel like you belong exactly there at that exact time? That was my experience with New Orleans, the culture is so rich and they are o so colorful I was immediately inspired to combine these outfit so I could fit right in. Initially, each piece was to be combined with other plainer outfits but NOLA gave me the confidence to wear color and go bold. As you can see, every article of clothing is a distinct pattern however, this mix and match was successful because I played with the primary colors which were yellow and red hence creating a bold yet cohesive match.…

    Mixing Prints with Ankara…

    As you may well know, I have a thing for prints and patterns hence incorporating it into my looks is one of my style norms. Mixing prints are great for adding fun to an outfit, especially for this warmer climate. Depending on the prints, it can be uniquely unpredictable but specific to the individual’s choice of color or material. I decided to pair two different prints to achieve my Ankara blocking.
